Leading retail brands invest in ETA Star's properties
Majid Al Futtaim Retail manages Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets, a joint venture company with the world's second largest retailer Carrefour express, Al Maya group and Rasham group are actively looking at investing in various properties of ETA Star across Dubai
MAF opened Carrefour Express in an area of 7000 sq ft in the retail space of Star House which is in a prime location facing Salahuddin Road, Deira and opposite to Reef mall. ETA Star Properties have signed a second venture with MAF in leasing a retail space of 8300 sq ft in Palladium Towers in Jumeirah lake Towers with prime vicinity of Dubai Metro station. They have subleased certain portions/counters within the leased areas to cafe and laundry services. They have sections for butchery, vegetables and fruits. They house almost everything ranging from refrigerated food to clothes under one roof, which is also trendy as shoppers pick specialized stores. Carrefour's own retail brands are a significant medium for brand differentiation and customer loyalty, contributing substantially to the organization's growth in sales.
Other leading brands who will be taking retail spaces from ETA Star are Subway and Al Maya stores. Subway shall take a total of 440 sq ft approx while Al Maya will look at retail space of 2900 sq ft approx in Liberty House, DIFC.
