ETA Star Properties supports Best Buddies UAE
Continuing its CSR initiative, ETA Star Properties supports Best Buddies, a non-profit organization to help intellectually disabled children. A meet was organized on the 29th of October to help create a platform for over 90 intellectually disabled Children at one of their recently delivered properties, Liberty House @ DIFC .
Close to 90 children got-together to network amongst each other during the two hour session. Best Buddies, is a lifeline to the joy of having and being a friend to these challenged ones.
The event was a networking session which created awareness of positive peer relationships, importance to socialize, encouraged involvement in school activities and also on leadership development.
Best Buddies envisions a world where people with disabilities are successfully integrated into schools, workplaces and other communities.
Mr.Craig Blake, DP Welfare and High school administration, EIS said "Emirates International School, Jumeirah would like to thank ETA Star for its generosity in sponsoring our Best Buddies Inaugural Event. The goal of this programme is to continue to make a difference in the lives of people with Special Needs, through opportunities for one-to-one friendships. This was made possible because of your support and we extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to all the volunteers and staff that have contributed in making this program a grand success".
Talking about this initiative, Mr., Mohammed Ali, General Manager, ETA Star properties stated, "We have always been a socially responsible organization and supporting Best Buddies is an addition to the other social activities we participate in. We are glad to provide support in whichever way possible to help these mentally challenged children".
